need to replace my 883 hugger carburetor

I was having problems with my 2000 883 hugger popping back through the carb so I went to check what jets was in it and replace if needed. When I removed the bowl I found one of the float mounts broken. It must of been cracked for awhile due to the color difference in the metal, but anyway.

The carb is part # 27490-96a. They are about $450 new. I can find a bunch of cv carbs on ebay and such but the part numbers don't match. Would I be able to use a carb with a different number? And what is the difference between them.

Some of the ones I have found are:
27492-96
27501-89
27412-99c
27421-99c

Thanks for the help

Bill

There are actually a lot of CV carbs that can be used on your bike aside from the part number you posted with small differences between them such as linkage differences for cruise and some other small features not to mention jetting.
