motor mount conversion

1 have a 96 1200 sportster , My question is can you change the rigid mounts for motor to rubber mount and if so what all would be involved?

As the frame is completely different then you have to change just about everything i think you may be able to keep your handlebars

On the solid mount the engine is part of the structure and strength of the frame so the frame on the rubber mounts is a bit heavier as it has to carry all the loads with the engine wobbling about in the middle the as the frame is different then all the stuff that is attached to it also has to be different
only way to get the sportster engine rubber mounted is to buy one that was built that way
