Hey Everyone...

First off I'd like to say that this is the place to be for all info on all things Harley. I'd be lost without it!

My question is this. I have an 01 Road King and my wife doesn't have enough space. She needs more leg room I guess.

Is there a backrest that will scoot her back a little and maybe some floorboards that will lower her feet down a little?

Maybe look through the Harley P&A book and also check out other bikes.
It'll take time.....
 
Look at where the rear floorboards mount. There should be the ability to remove bolt and lower 1". This may do the trick.
 
One caveat about lowering the passenger floorboards. There is a strong probability that your heels will get caught easily. This is a common complaint and could cause you to dump the bike.

Painful...and a potentially dangerous and embarrassing situation.

I am interested in seeing which solution you pick, as I am currently fighting this dilemna.
 
You can lower the floorboards and take off the chrome bars in front of the bags if you have them for a little more room.
