Lyndall Brake Pads

Lyndall pads are very well received here on HDTimeline...in particular Glider and Chopper have recommended their use and noted that the dusting is much less than standard H-D pads, which when mixed with water turns in a slurry that is corrosive and can etch cast aluminum wheels.

I have a Deluxe with the wide whites. Which model pads did you install? Can't wait to enjoy less dust.

I've had a full set on my 03 RKC for around 2500 mi now. I would say that my results are mixed.
On the front (2 discs), they went quiet as a mouse, and essentially dust free, no more chirping down the road.
On the back (1 disc), they are the dustiest thing I've ever seen, and sqeal every time I use them, but at least they do not chirp going down the road like the HD ones did.
I'm thinking that the indy that installed them did something wrong on the back, but I can't think of what. There is a non-zero possibilty of that, since I had to correct alot of other things after having him do my 20K.
