LED Running/Brake light

Okay, I bought a Softail Custom that someone had put a sidemount license plate bracket and LED running/brake light on it. I am a little concerned to ride because the brake light is barely brighter than the running light. There is literally almost no difference in brightness. Is there anything that I can do to make it brighter or am I just going to have to replace it with a different light? I'm a little new to the LED thing.

Nothing I can think of to make it brighter, probably have to replace it

Thanks anyway. I was already looking at replacing it, just wanted to be sure there wasn't a cheaper way around replacing it. Thanks
