Is carburater stock or better

Well I just got the carb back on choke, fuel, cables everything is good and this thing runs like a dream the throttle is much crisper and the response is incredibly better than it was. My wife said it sounded a lot meaner which is good for me. Now my mechanic said I am definately due for a 5k service he reffered specifically to the steering head being too stiff and my clutch(in his words) requires a muscle man to operate and since I havent changed the oil since last year I now know my next project.:glasses
