Nostalgia is a very good thing. Points and condenser system old fashioned, but reliable like an old ax. Just a little cleaning of the points with ignition file, regap the points and touch up the timing and your golden. Funny thing is static method works "just" as well as fancy method using expensive strobe timing light and dwell meter equipment.
