Aside from price, they will both flow more than enough air for most engines. What it comes down to is personal choice.

I have a 2009 Super Glide Custom and I have put the V&H slip-ons on and installed a K&N air filter with the stock filter cover and a Fuelpak. So far it's made a world of difference in how it runs and I didn't know if installing the SE Heavy Breather would help that much more over "regular" K&N that's on it now. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

What's "the regular K&N"?
Is it the replacement for the stock air filter or the K&N that is installed in the stage 1 kit that is about 2 1/2" tall?
