Heritage bars on a 1200?

My son is going to put forward controls on his 2005 1200R but also wants to sit more upright rather than leaning forward on his bars. Anyone put Heritage bars on a Sporster? Any recommendation of a bar that works well with this goal in mind? Thanks!

I'm currently using my old Heritage / Fatboy bars on my 1995 1200.
It gave me an upright, wider handle I was after. My dimensions are:

Width grip to grip= 33"

Rise = 8"

Pullback= 12"

I had no problems using the exisiting controls for the change. You may want to check your cable lengths to confirm that on your son's bike.
They look unsymmetrical for a narrow glide. But it was all about rider comfort for me.

I know the bars that are on the Street Bobs are a big upgrade that alot of folks are doing on there Sporties. Mini Apes or somethen like that.

Why years fit what it does it matter?
I've got an 05 1200c and it would be awesome to switch those out
