    Hi all .. got some questions
    First , my bike is a 96 1200c sportster

    problem with my charging system

    I put a meter on my fully charged battery at idle I'm getting 12.5 vdc
    when I rev it up I get 12.7 to 12.9

    I changed the regulator a couple months a go and figured it must be my stator .. I;m uploading a pic of my regulator plugs :

    Is the two prong plug the dc side or the ac side ?

    now wha'ts the best way to test if it's a bad regulator or bad stator
    or maybe bad ground connection ?

    i have been reading that , thanks Glider . when testing the regulator is the 2 prong side the d.c. and the roung plug the incoming a.c. ?

    The regulator and the plug is DC, what comes from the stator is AC.
