Still working on wiring my bike. I have a skull headlight with two light bulbs. They are grounded to the headlight mounting bracket on the fork T. The two hot wires run into one wire which is connected to the ignition switch acc post.
They do not light ( the tailight works ) even when I run the wire directly to the battery positive.

Are you sure you got a good ground ???

Easily verified with a ohm meter or trouble probe

I ran the ground directly to the bat neg and the hot wire to the bat pos. I have light! I am going to wire it to an on-off toggle. Should I put a fuse or breaker between the toggle and the light?
Thanks for the ground suggestion, that worked.

I mean, should I install the fuse between the toggle and headlight, or the toggle and the battery?
    Thanks

The fuse should be at the beginning of the circuit by the battery for best protection .
