Hardbag latch broken

Well it is kind of broken the spring that keeps the latch out when the lid is open is broken , other than that the latch work fine . Can the spring be replaced or do I have to get a new latch & is this a common problem & would the warranty cover it ?

You can change just the latch spring. It costs $1.50. If your dealer cann't find the part number I will get it for you.

It is a warranty issue. I have had my left bag done 1 time and my right bag done 2 times. (Had my bike 1 year and 2 months) Seems like it will be a common issue. Make sure it is adjusted properly before you leave the dealer. If not, it can be a nuisance to open and close it.
