fuel pump hose in the tank

Can a fuel pump hose leaking cause a engine to run different when I get about 1/2 of tank or less, my 06 FLSTC/I If so how can this be checked with out removing the hose and pump? Thanks PJ
 
Being as your bike is 2-3 years young, could you have picked up some bad fuel and the debris is starting to foul up the works a bit w/ debris or water? Might want to do an inspection, or add some 8 ozs of Chemtool or Sea Foam fuel solvent/injector cleaner.
 
Thanks glider, I checked it out there is no fuel pump hose leak. I didn't think so I just have been hearing about these new harleys with Elec. fuel pump hose leaks so I had to check mine . I getting ready for a 2700 mile road trip up to yellowstone, then Glacier National park then back by the Coast for around trip. We were going to Sturgis but it's too crowded.
