Fuel Gage Float Stick

Hello, Has anyone experienced this problem? My fuel gage stays at full until the tank reaches the 3/8 level. Then the fuel gages begins to display accurate fuel level from 3/8 to Empty. I believe it may be a sticking float.

Ok read the articles. Found out that the float lever was hitting on side of tank.
