While on a ride today i noticed a sound (buzz) everytime I squezed on the lever. The sound comes from the caliper. The sound goes away as the bike comes to slow speed almost at a stop. Again not a grinding nor leak just a buzz sound. Anyone know what it could be.
Quite possibly the holes in the rotor make the sound as the pads rub, and the forks twist slightly. My single disc Sportster did it all the time. My Dual disc Dyna and E.Glide do not.
The slots cause a slight whirring sound, but when you have floating disc rotors, the buzz is more pronounced as the "rivets" click as they allow the disc to float. Love that sound, 1st noticed on my Katana sportbike way back when!
