front end bounce

I've had my 2002 FLHR for a couple of years now and have noticed when I get above 75mph the front end starts to bounce. Had new tyres fitted and balanced and just recently had new oil put in the forks, which has helped but not cured the problem, has anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing this bounce to occour?
I would also like to add that it was doing this before I had the new tyres fitted.

Yeah it is, does it make that much of a difference?

It certainly can. Jack the front wheel off the ground and check BOTH planes (vertical & horizontal) for visible run-out. The spec limit is .030". In my opinion, even that is WAY too much. But that is about all you can expect and HD says that is OK. So we live with it.

Remember. You can NOT "balance out" vertical run out. The balance machine can say "Zero" weight is required and it means nothing.

Thanks for that, I'm having the swingarm bearings changed this weekend so I'll ask the mechanic to check it for me.
