front brake reservor fill

Just brought bike from servicing and when I returned home I had brake fluid weeping out of the reservor seal. I removed the cover and cleaned then replaced and it still would weep out. ?????? Must be to much fluid so I removed some and guess what? It does not leak. NOt to worry the brakes still work.
Just wondering what the correct fill level is?

There is usually a fill mark inside but I keep it below the top with the bars cut to the side that puts the cylinder on a non level position.

Also don't over tighten the cap screws or it will leak too.

Thanks man, but I have a Super Glide now and with the bars cut it is level...LOL I will do the same with the bars level then not tighten the cover down to tight. Just screw down enough so the gasket does not bulge correct?

That's about it. Not tight enough to bulge the gasket. Check the manual for the TQ specs if you aren't sure.
