FLH front end

Hi everyone,

first let me introduce myself as a newcomer. My name is Stan, I live in the Netherlands and I own a 89 fxr low rider. after I sold my electra glide I tried some Jap racers. But .......... neh. Did give me the rush! So I bought an older FXR a while ago.
I always loved the big tubes from my electra and so I 'm planning to put them in my fxr. Anybody any experience if that will fit? Does the triple tree have the same size or any big changes?

The geometry of the FLH triple trees is all wrong for a FXR. The fork tubes are actually behind the neck, instead of in front. I have seen fat fork kits on a FXR, but don't know who makes them.
