Hi Guys, I'm 60 years old and no stranger to motorcycles, been riding 45 years, built a few in my time too, but never Harley Davidson.
My most recent project was a GL1100 Goldwing that I rebuilt from the ground up and now it runs like a scalded cat, must be a hundred bikes make up that 1 machine, and now that it's finished, I just scored my latest project.
A 2002 Road King FLHR with 10K miles on it, $5K. It was ran lightly for a few years when it was new and has sat in a garage for 11 years, so I'm sure to have some questions for all y'all at some point but I'll do that in the appropriate forum,
I am aware that most of the bikes I built in the 70's, 80's and 90's in no way compare to the ones I've built since the internet and forums have existed, advise and parts availability have come a long way since then, but be assured, I also know it's a 2 way street.
Thanks for having me!
