Does anybody know if they make a finned primary cover to cool the oil better?
Or how about a finned derby cover to fit 2010 FB primary.
Do you think it would cool enough if made?
I think if a person could some how cool the primary fluid down some it would help.
    Please don't think I'm crazy...:s... just think'n out loud!

I've seen both but I don't think it would make enough of a difference to justify the change.

I have seen several derby covers and at least one whole primary cover that were finned, but like Glider I don't think they did much in radiational cooling. They were more for a custom look. You have to remember the components in the primary were designed to run in the temps. that exist in the primary.
