If you have a dyna switchback please make sure you have the locking catch secured correctly or this happens - 30mph off and thankfully the car behind stopped and it didnt hit them

I lost a pannier off my BMW one time 100 yards from home gave it a wee bit of character

nope the Whole Bag - there held on by 3 pins and a rotating lock that if not exact will result in it coming loose

I just don't trust those locking pins. There should be a more positive locking device to guarantee that the bag cannot come off, considering the damage, and loss that can be incurred if you loose one while on a trip.
