Anyone have any recommendations on exhaust pipes for a 97 springer softail? The ones I have on now are straight but too loud to pass inspection. I have to change them and have been told that baffles will effect the sound. Help?

I purchased my Harley at National Powersports and keeping it stored at Heritage Harley. I was told by NA that it would not pass because they were too loud to pass under NH law. The tech at Heritage says the same thing. I'm sure they have DB meters. Right now NH has a 106 db limit. A bill is in route to lower the limit to 95!! Yuk!!
p.s. the technician told me that baffles can change to sound that's less appealing. Suggested not using them.
