I have used them on one of my TC builds with low back pressure set up.. AS a reversion the cones worked great..

But just don't use them to use them... WITH Lower back-pressure or shortened straight pipes they help

Were you getting Popping in the exhaust Before you installed them?

mine quit Most of the pop bang boom after i installed my cones..

I never did run the drags without the cones. When I redid the bike in '99, I installed the drags and included cones at that time. Before that I ran the OEM headers and slip-ons.

I put the revision cones because i had the end baffles out of the mufflers.. SO it should help your bike gain some back pressure along with the revision of the gasses,, Mainly I was after the POP pop pop that went away....
