There's been a few questions asked about warm up on the Harleys.
You should allow all Harleys to warm up a bit before riding off on a cold start to prevent leaks from uneven expansion in the engine.
Usually a few (2-4) minutes at idle should do it and then ride it easy until it is completely warmed up.
It will usually prevent leaks at the gaskets doing it this way.
