engine dies while riding

2007 street glide 14000 miles, my engine just died while i was on the freeway, doing about 60mph ??????, i just hit the start switch it it started as i was riding got off as i slowed down i had to give it trottle cause it seemed like it would die, its happened a couple times before, always use premium gas any one have any input as to whats going on. Thanks
 
Have you checked to see if the bike's throwing any codes? Start there to see if it narrows things down. Did you just take bike out of storage & was the fuel treated (stabil)?
 
In addition to Iceman's input, I'll ask the question that applies in ANY situation. What was the last thing, maintenance/addition/mod, that you did to your bike?
 
Check your battery connections, this happened to both of my bikes, just tightened them up, no problems, part of my pre-ride now.
