What's the best type of easy pull clutch mod for a 1996 sporty?
Are there any problems associated with them?

I did a quick search on this and found a product called clutchlite which seems to be of German origin so i would suspect it would be well made and be effective it is available at v-twin mania so you could have it in a couple of days
V-Twin Mania - Genuine Harley Davidson parts and accessories, Kuryakyn, Vance Hines, Custom Chrome, Zodiac and many more...
    Clutchlite - clutch
primary cover would have to be removed to fit as it will fit on the inside of the cover so a primary gasket and some new oil would also be required

On the one you posted above, I have seen instances where that type of clutch assist came into contact with the primary cover when the handle was pulled, and grinding was required to clearance it.

I don't have enough post counts at this juncture to post a link, but if you GOOGLE "muller power clutch sportster" and go to the fourth entry down ("1130-0004 - Muller Power Clutch - Sportster (94-06)") there is a direct link to the part.
