The last 5 years, I have went on at least one road trip. I wish I could do more, but that is all I am fortunate enuff to enjoy for now. The last five trips were as follows from past to most recent:

Galcier Park over Hwy to Sun into Coeur d'Alene Idaho and back to then home N Dak.

Through the Ozarks from OKC, to Fayetteville Ark. to Eureka Springs, down to Hot Springs and across Telimena back to OKC.

Two rides through the Durango Co. area, million dollar highway Silverton and so on. Did this back to back the last two years as we were unable to see all we wanted to the first trip.

Last year to Yellowstone via Estes Park, Co., The Tetons, on through Yellowstone, cooke city and down the Chief Joseph highway, and home again.

Now I am trying to decide whats next. I want to go do the west coast ride into the redwoods and further north, but this will not be the year due to time constraints. Question is what are your plans? What are your favorite rides and where will you go next? Looking for ideas and also am interested in what others are destine for. Thanks all for your ideas and recommendations. Ride safe. :D

If ever you get near Wisconsin I would recomend the Trip up along the Mississippi river into the UP of Michigan. Then down along the lake Michigan down to Milwaukee,a stop at the Harley Museum, maybe the world headquaters and if it is summer time then summerfest for sure or if in September then the Harley state rally.

First one is Daytona for bike week

second is Tn to the outlaws not sure where all i will go when im there..

them are only trips this year so far rest will be weekend hops

sharpscuba: Thanks for the reply. Is this a favorite ride only if in your area, or one that you would recommend make as a destination for a ride from the beginning? Never been to Wisconsin but have heard the UP is great.

Sorry for being so unaware, but what are the "Outlaws"?

You have been a lot of places that I have not. However, I would like to recommend the Blue Ridge Parkway or Smokey Mountains, OR Both. This may be a totally different experience for you.

I was in Knoxville TN for work and rented a RoadKing. Did the Dragon, but not much else. I could tell the area was beautiful.

Riding up this mighty Mis. is a awesome ride. Granted they are not mountains but the hills and bluffs are awesome. Nice roads, beautiful scenery, the people are great and treat you right. Wisconsin is a very beautiful state and we are blessed with many state and federal forests. Deer can be trouble at times. There are places to stay from remote campsites to Casino resorts. Llike I said Summerfest is the worlds largest music festible and last but not least The home of Harley Davidson. What more needs to be said. Personally I enjoy riding just about everywhere in the state. I do tend to stay out side of the cities though.
