Cruise control Throttle mate

Installed the Throttle Mate cruise control yesterday. For $16.00 you can't beat it. Simple sometimes is the best. Took her out for a ride and a big difference compared to the star thumb nut. Worked great! Have had about five rides since.

I have tried that type of gadget and I am not comfortable with them for various reasons. The first being that they don't truly maintain a constant speed and the second is simpler. If you come into a sudden slowdown of traffic it isn't a simple tap on the brake pedal to disengage and evade a problem. IMO the friction wheel on the throttle is only to do just that, apply a bit of resistance in the throttle Not lock it.
