Confused??

New here,never posted. had a question?
Hear alot of talk about oils and gear lube.
Ride 05 electraglide w 86000+ miles.
Have always used syn 3 all though bike.
Should I switch to Mobil 1?
Do see metal fuzz on drain plug when changing.
Any advice appreciated.

You'll always see a lot of fuzz on the magnet using syn 3, it's only gear material that should be on the gear set and not on the magnet. Syn 3 is an engine oil (if you want to call it that) and a poor excuse for what they refer to as a synthetic oil when it's not a true synthetic but a blend.

Exactly what oils & fluids do you use Glider? I use Syn 3 in everything because it is simple but I would rather use the proper lubricants.

Best to get that Syn 3 out of the bike.
