choke problem

Need to replace choke. Does any one know what size wrench to use to take off the starter cap to get to the enrichener valve at the carb to remove it. Also does it need to be torqued or just snug. Don't want to strip it. I have an '06 883c. Thanks

Most of that choke cable is plastic.. No need to torque it, be easy. Get it snug. As far as wrench sizes.. Its standard.

Look for part # 324... There is a spring, and another part behind it, you don't want to lose them.

If it is the plastic fitting that screws into the carb you may find that it is a metric size as all the threads on the carb are metric but i am not sure which one fits i do remember there is not much space between the carb and the nut and you can only get it to move about one flat at a time and it never gets loose enough to be done with fingers
