check engine light

My 2010 flhr has a problem sometimes, when I roll on the throttle, or rev the engine the engine light comes on, and the bike has limited power. this has happened twice and I am able to reset the computer by turning the ign. on, and off three times. what is the problem? I have installed aftermarket mufflers.

Welcome to the forum. Click on the self help tab at the top left of the screen, then open "diagnostics & fuel injection" from the drop down menu.
Find the procedure for retrieving your fault code, then find and open the diagnostic codes page from the same drop down menu. Come back with the code description and someone will help you determine what the cause and fix is.

Thanks for the help. I will try this as soon as the weather warms up. It is cold here in Iowa. We are looking forward to spring time.
