Going off, back on, then back off at start means you do not have a currently active error. But you have had one recently. The code has been stored as a historical code. some machines have ways of displaying them. HD makes readers you can buy that can read an d clear them. If nothing else, indies or HD shops can read them, for a fee, and tell you what they are.
Codes are your friend. Somne issues are pert near impossible to track down without them.
If you caused the code, and it is cleared (like starting your bike with a sensor connector off), teh historical code will likely clear itself after 50 start, run at least 20 sec cycles.
