I need some help. I was thinking Progressive 412 11.5.
Question, Im 5'3 112 will they help the ride, I want to lower an inch and feel like Im sitting in the bike not on it.

    I have XL883C 2006

My ride is an XL1200RS, but I have the Progressive 412 10.5 on mine and they work great to lower the rear. The ride is stiffer, and I am 5'6 130 lbs and it is fine solo if preload is set to position 1, if riding two up, set to position 3 or 4).

Buy the HD spanner (works for stock HD & Progressive collars) for $9, and won't scratch the surfaces. If you want to level the bike, you can change out the fork springs and raise the fork oil wt to 7W (stock is 5W). Enjoy! :57:
