Please be aware that the author is suggesting 15/50 Mobil car oil that is not for air cooled engines. Use an oil that is designed for air cooled engines like Mobil 1 V Twin oil 20/50.

Again Mr. Data great information for a starter. I have a 1500lb. lift I bought basically for winter storage. Would you reccomend doing these types of fluid changes on the hoist or off the jiffy stand?

Your lift should handle all the services above without a problem. In a pinch, it can be done on the jiffy stand.

Different additive packages, use the V Twin oil.
