Bowl game / Names

Ok so I havn't kept up on the NCAA FB bowl games or most of the season games for a long time.
Is it just me or are the names and number of bowl game getting a bit out of hand.
Why not call it the Chicken Bowl?
If the season is over let it be over. Let the teams that have wining records have a real play off leading to the National Championship game.
I just don't feel the need for 40 bowl games leading to the final game.
Prediction for a new bowl name anyone. Mine is,
"Sorry you did so bad bowl."

agree with Bodeen just had this discussion over breakfast this morning . my belief is its all about the almighty
DOLLAR got teams playing in a bowl game with a 5 and 7 record what a Joke

For real! Though it`s a little better now. Last century the number one and two ranked teams rarely played each other and the rankings were decided somehow by three different polls. Now the second ranked team always gets to play Alabama, lol.
