I'm going to purchase a 08 Softail Deluxe, however at 5'2" and maybe after a meal 125lbs, I need to lower the bike a bit. I've heard everything from tightening the current suspension to changing to progressive shocks to air shocks. Being a newbee, I want to do what's best for the motorcycle. :bigsmiley8:

not being sexist..but that seems to be alot of bike for someone your size(my wife is of similar stature).. I am sure you can ride it as my wife can with my heritage but she struggles with the weight and in situations could easily lose it ... I see a lot of women on these bikes and just wonder how they manage ... I guess its just a safety thing but you just never know when you might have to hold it upright from an awkward position....even with it lowered there is a lot of weight good luck and safe riding
