Battery Tender

A question before I mess something up. I have 3 ATV's and thought I would remove the batteries connect them together and put on one tender. Has anyone ever done this, or does anyone know if this will work? thanks wayne

Absolutely not. The weakest battery will always be pulling on the best battery. You could do it using a 36 volt charger and putting the batteries in Series with each other. Just like the (6) 2.2 volt cells ate tied together in a 12.6 volt battery, you would chain 18 cells in series making 36 volts. But the batteries would have to be the same capacity and size.
 
thanks guys. sometimes I have the good brain sparks, and then sometimes they crash and burn, looks like this was one of them. wayne
