Battery Prob

I am riding a 66 sporty. as you may know it has a gen not an alt. After about 4 starts the battery is about dead. is this normal or is something wrong. please help. new to the harley game. Thanks in advance.

Should last longer than 4 starts. It takes rpm's to charge the battery on most bikes especially the generator setup. Check the battery and see if it is charging when it's running at about 2000+ rpm's
