banging noise going over bumps

I went on a nice ride with my wife on the back. well 30 minutes from home i hear a banging noise coming from the underside of my bike while going over bumps. i checked the air pressure in the shocks and all was good. so ive read that these touring models have a rear swing arm problem. i havent taken the bags off or jacked it up to see what i might find. does anyone ideas what i might be i store for when i do. ive been reading about stabilizer kits and true track kits as well.

Check muffler hangers for insulator torn or out of place....
Are there aftermarket mufflers on bike??? If so possibly baffle loose.

Also check the left side saddlebag support where it bolts on in the rear. Some earlier models would break there in the bend.

Besides checking the muffler hangers for insulator torn or out of place, those brackets have cracked on a few bikes to . Give them a good look over at the corner of the bracket where it turns from horizontal to vertical.

Also check the Jiffy stand. The rubber stopper could be missing or out of alignment.
