Ape Hanger install on a Road King

Hello everyone, I am going to install 18" apes on my 06 Road King. I have found great info on this forum but was wondering if anybody had step by step installation instructions. I have bars and gathering all the items necessary per the various list on the forum and dealership but I don't want to screw it up. The bars are 18" height and 1.25" thick I'd appreciate any guidance from the D.I.Y. veterans on the forum.

You need alot of patience. Well worth the effort in the end. I installed 16" on my Roadking custom and love them. Took me a little to gett used to them but a world of difference, especially in the handling
