Andrews +4 degree sprocket

Hi, I am upgrading my 07 Ultra with a 103 SE kit and Woods TW6-6 Cam. Bike is used for touring and ride outs. I have an Andrews +4 degree timing gear given by a club mate and wondered whether I should fit or whether it would be over kill?

AND While you are answering spider's question , Please give the INS and OUTs of the 4* gear ... If it would do anything good for low end and What if installed on a SE255 cam install on a 09FLHR....

Never quite understood the Why's other than advancing the cam...
