Wanted some input. I have no reason to doubt the advice of my friend, and have been following said advice since I purchased my 2006 FLHPI. Now I've found this site and I just have to ask for your input.

I am open to suggestions for any other brands etc. I am running Amsoil brand synth.

20/50 Engine

10-40 Primary

75-140 Trans


Do you think these are good choices? I live on Cape Cod and ride April/May thru Oct/Nov.

Again I am open to suggestions.

Good choices. You will get lots of suggestions here, but the bottom line to me is using fluids that meet the following:

Generic fluid recommendations

Engine: FULL synthetic 20W50 VTwin engine oil
Tranny: FULL snythetic 75W140 GL-5 gear lube
Primary: Fit-for-purpose chaincase/wet clutch lubricant (like HD Formula + or Spectro Primary, Redline Primary, etc.)

Seems like your choices do that!
