That baby is Sweeet!! I'm familiar with using a Leica HDS scanner for documenting crash & crime scenes, but for documenting small machined parts, geeze .. nothing beats that catagory of scanner! U.S.A.!! :42:
 
That is a awesome machine. I am familiar CNC Progamming and Stereolithography. It was more used for rapid prototyping back in the day.

Man there is now nothing that can't be made. I wonder what happen to the machine that actually made metal parts by using powered metals.

Just interface the scanner with a 5 axis Flowjet and you're all set!
 
Just dissassemble youre Harley, feed it into the machine and Whalla!You have a Honda, looks like a Harley just made out of plastic.
