Heading to Alaska in July for road trip was there few years ago looking at spending more time around Anchorage.

Any suggestions for rides, food , bars and paces to go ?

Can almost see my drive through the snow getting bike pionted towards the door.

Ah wish I could ask my Stepson (hes out riding his Kawasaki for the weekend). He was stationed in Alaska (Army) for several years. If you like to fish the Salmon fishing is great up there.

Been to Alaska, but not by bike. Have to say...given the huge expanse of the state, how far inland do you plan to go...center up from Fairbanks is pretty country, but it truly is the "wild west" as most inhabitants get to where they want to go by plane with good reason...real wide open spaces so bring extra tank of gas or two in your bags may be a good idea...Chopper has 'em. And plenty of planning...to be sure. Enjoy your "Adventure Tour" and take plenty of pictures!
