I've just finished watching for the second time, over the years, what I think to be one of the best American movies produced over the last I don't know how many years. That movie was Seabiscuit. Being closely based on a true story made it more enjoyable for me and it was beautifully filmed and told.
The makers of this film deserve a big pat on the back.

I agree. If you find yourself not rooting for that horse and its rider, then you've got no heart!

I agree. Another good one is "Secretariat."

I missed that one, I'll have to rent that. Did you ever see that one of the American Pinto horse named Hidalgo, his owner took him to some middle east country to race in a long distance endurance race with the Arabians and he won ?

It was time based I think in the late 1800's or early 1900's. Seems like the name of the movie was ' A Horse Named Hidalgo '. Boy that horse (and his owner) had some heart, but especially the horse.
