2010 Ultra Classic. Fuel guage is stuck on full. Had dealer pull fuel sending unit out and re-install. Guage worked fine. 3 weeks later guage is stuck on full right after I filled the bike. How do I get the fuel sening unit out of the tank? I'm going to replace the float assy with a new one. HD has a new part & I hope it will fix this

If you dont already have a manual I would get one

I believe that if you unplug the wiring harness from the fuel pump assembly and see what the fuel gage does. If empty problem is probably in the sending unit. If gage reads full wire from gauge is grounded somewhere or gauge may be bad.
