Howdy everyone. Well I do love my new Road Glide and it's really a whole new experience having a nice sound system and quiet stock pipes as I roll along down the road. I like it for a change but am so used to Thunder Headers on my bikes. Yes they're loud but give wonderful torque, power and incredible Harley sound. So I'm taking my time regarding making any changes but must eventually open up this quiet beast to the free flow and power exhaust and air flow give.

I've listened to Fat Cats online and know they are a quality option. Any comments or imput would be of interest and stimulating. I do enjoy things being quieter but the compromise is questionable and probably won't prevail.

I will file your ideas so as to hopefully make a calculated decision.

I use Vance & Hines true duels on my 08 RG & they sound great IMO , they are loud enough when you get on the throttle but mellow when cruising .

I just installed a Fatcat on my 07 FLSTF, this one is a keeper. I tried BSS and Rinehart 2x1, but the Fatcat has the best sound.
