2008 FLSTC with Vance & Hines True Dual exhaust

Hey gang,

I just bought an 08 Heritage Softail Classic anniversary edition and
want to put the Vance and Hines True Dual exhaust on it,
with the performance intake and the HD race tuning.

I know I will get great performance out of that, but my question
is:

Has anyone put this setup on their 08 Softail?

I want the dual with a pipe on each side, but it looks like it will
be hard to fit the rear pipe behind the rear cylinder, unless I get a smaller
coil cover.

Does anyone know if the pipe on each side setup is possible on an 08?

If so, can you attach a pic?

I would contact "Hobbit" he has the true duel set up on his Heritage.
I am sure he will respond to your post.

i have the fishtail tips and they look and sound awesome specially with the quiet baffles in them

Thanks Hobbit...

But how does the pipe fit around the coil? Do they just put another cover
on it? I just seems hard to fit behind the cylinder, but I'm totally excited
about them fitting. I'm getting the fishtail, not sure about which baffle though.

Should I go the no or quiet baffle? What's the difference?
 
Thanks Hobbit...can't wait to see the pics.

Just talked to my service manager and he said, no problem
with them fitting, but said the same thing about the baffles
you did. He said no baffles will make it impossible to completely
tune it right, and I'd get some popping on deceleration.

What kind of baffles are there? I know quiet is an option,
but there are others. I want baffles, but the baffles that
will give me the most performance and deep throaty sound.

Do you still recommend the quiet baffles?
