2000 Road King speedo

I was out of the run with my buddies and my speedo stopped working then I noticed my blinkers would not cancel where should I start looking for the problem

The turn signals won't cancel without a signal from the speedo. Has to do with sped/time.

I just had the same problem with my 2000 Road King I removed the speedo sensor which is located in front of the starter wiped off all the extra metal shavings and replaced it everything is fine
