1955 KH Horn Mounting

I have the horn for my 55 sportster, but wanted to know how it mounts to the bike. The upper motor mount has the tab, but I do not have the bracket shown on the carburetor backplate in the parts manual. We suspect the horn mounts to that, but I have not found any pubs that show how to mount the horn.

You need the bracket to mount the horn.

1955khsporty; My H.D. data book has a poor picture of a '54 KH, it looks like the horn mounts above the r. front cyl. head, just below the front of the tank, maybe on the down tube? There is no pic. for '55. The pic. of a '56 is the r.side of bike, and I don't see a horn. I don't know if this helps any.

I will post pictures when the rebuild is complete. It is better than halfway, but the little things are taking time.
